Book Review: The Andersons by: H.G. Langley

Publisher: SP Press

Publication Date: April 22, 2015

Origins:  From Author for Review

Synopsis: Thomas and Margaret Anderson are like most couples in Sugar Maple Grove, West Virginia. They attend neighborhood block parties on Fridays, do home projects on Saturdays, and go to church on Sundays.

They also kill people.

Suburbia has never been more deadly....

CONTAINS SCENES OF EXPLICIT LANGUAGE, VIOLENCE, AND SEX. READER DISCRETION IS ADVISED.

Review: THE ANDERSONS does contain explicit scenes of violence, adult language, and other adult content. Thomas and Margaret Anderson are the newest and youngest couple in their neighborhood. As congenial as most people seem, everyone has a few secrets, and the Andersons’ secret is bigger than most…they kill people. Maggie and Tom have a very different relationship, but somehow it works. THE ANDERSONS is a twisted tale of love, devotion, and murder. While the story is supremely graphic, it works for what the author is conveying about the characters. THE ANDERSONS is a solid story which I was completely drawn into from page one.
