Synopsis: Jessica Kyle believes anything is possible if she works hard for it, and that includes making Sam Girard fall in love with her. For a blissful month, she thought she was on her way to a happily ever after -- until Sam dumped her.
Now Jessica's on a campaign to win back Sam's heart. Her plan: a makeover, both inside and out. Some strategically-timed phone calls and texts. An "accidental" meeting with her snooty rival. Maybe even a surprise visit, or two, or more. After all, Jessica isn't about to let Sam slip from her grasp. Their love was too precious for her to simply set him free. She'll do anything to show how much she cares about him, even if it means never, ever letting him go.
Review: NEVER LET GO is the story of Jessica Kyle. She’s always had a strategy when it comes to dating – always leave them wanting more. She’s dating Sam Girard and thinks everything is going according to plan…until he dumps her. This is something new in Jessica’s world; normally she’s the one to walk away. So she refuses to give up, going to all sorts of extremes to make Sam realize they belong together. NEVER LET GO’s main character, Jessica, comes across as high-maintenance and when she doesn’t get her way, desperate and pathetic. I didn’t feel sorry for Jessica because she brought her troubles on herself. NEVER LET GO also felt unfinished in a way…or perhaps as if it is more of a prequel to a larger story than a novella.
