Interview: Q. How did writing this book affect you? I imagine any author would tell you that writing a novel is an emotional rollercoaster. Some days you love your book, the next day your ready to throw it in the trash. Then you think it’s in perfect shape and you send it off to the editor. You get back some plot issues and hundreds of stupid typo mistakes you make.  I’ve definitely grown thicker skin.

Q. What is the hardest part of writing for you? Making sure I don’t repeat the same word over and over as well as to many typos. No matter how many times I read my own work, I still have typos. Very frustrating!

Q. Do you plan any subsequent books? Yes. I’m currently working on the sequel to They Call Me Superman. I’m also working on some free short stories that I’ll be posting soon at

Q. What are you currently reading? I read about two books a week. Currently, I’m reading “Eye for an Eye” by Ben Coes.

Q. Please tell us your latest news (book-related or not!).  I just got back from my first trip to Australia. It was fun celebrating Christmas in the summer.

Q. What would you say is your most interesting writing quirk? Stupid typos. I type fast and sometimes I’ll miss an “s” or “ed”.

Q. Please tell us a fun-fact about yourself!  I’m a former professional bowler.

Q. Is there anything you haven’t written about that you would like to in the future? Definitely.  I have dozens of plot in my head.

Q. What gives you the most joy in life? My wife and son.

Q. Which of your characters would you want to be and why? The MC, Marcus Evans. Besides being a stud, he has a lot of character.

Q. How do you like to spend your spare time? Spending time with my family, writing, golf, working out, and traveling.

Q. How did you come up with the title? It came to me one morning.

Q. Do you have anything specific that you want to say to your readers? I hope you enjoy my novel. I’m really interested in your opinion. You can contact me at
