Synopsis: HOT. SEXY. POWERFUL. PAINFUL. REAL. The scorching international bestseller that strips away everything you’ve ever believed about passion . . . .
Remington Tate has a bad-boy rep in and out of the ring, a granite-hard body, and a raw, animal power that sends his female fans into a frenzy. But from the moment their eyes lock, the only woman he wants is Brooke Dumas. His desire is pure, all-consuming, and REAL.
Hired to keep his perfect body working like a machine, Brooke finally has the lucrative sports therapy job she’s been dreaming of. But as she tours the dangerous underground fighting circuit with Remy and his team, Brooke’s own body becomes alive with the most primal of hungers. If what happens between Brooke and Remy is ever as light as a flirtation, it quickly becomes an erotic obsession for them both, and promises so much more.
But their white-hot lust has a dark side—and when Remy’s deepest secret comes to light and Brooke’s familial duties demand action, will the pair be able to hang on, or will everything that once seemed so real suddenly fade away like an illusion?
Real, Raw & Ripped series: Real (1), Mine (2), Remy (3), Raw (4), Ripped (5)
Interview: Q. Please tell us about the inspiration for your current release.
Real began with my hero, Remington Tate “Riptide,” a blue-eyed cocky Underground fighter battling his own inner demons. The moment he materialized in my mind, he grabbed me and wouldn’t let go, and I just had to sit down to write his story.
Q. How did writing this book affect you?
It's a book that came straight from my heart, and from the moment I began, I wrote nonstop for 21 days, breathing Real, eating Real, sleeping Real and living Real. What most readers experience when they pick up Real and can't put it down, I felt the same and could not leave the computer.
Q. What is the hardest part of writing for you?
I love writing in general, but sometimes, the time. It’s hard when you have the story happening in your head, and you want to be at the keyboard all day, but then you also have a real life, a wonderful husband, kids, so it’s difficult to balance.
Q. What would you say is your most interesting writing quirk?
I seem to want a cup of tea by my side even though I may not drink it. By the time I remember to sip every couple of hours, I have to go stand up and get a new warm one.
Q. Do you plan any subsequent books?
Currently I'm finishing writing REMY, the main hero's point-of-view novella. So many readers have wanted to know what he was thinking at many points in Real, and I've also wanted to be in his head myself, so this is a shorter-length story that's meant like a treat to those of us wondering and wanting to know even more about him! :) Following that is RAW, a full length story focused on Brooke’s best friend, Melanie.
Q. What are you currently reading?
I can’t seem to read when I’m in the midst of writing, but I can’t wait to catch up with all the latest releases! I’m up for any recommendations. :-)
Q. Please tell us your latest news (book-related or not!).
I’m excited this week! Real has just released in new paperback form and is available both online in Amazon, Barnes and Noble, as well as in stores like Target and Barnes and Noble. I can’t get over the amazing, amazing feeling of seeing Real on all those shelves.
Q. Please tell us a fun-fact about yourself!
Alright, I’m a big believer in energy and the astrological weather patterns. So I get wary when there are Mercury Retrogrades, and I especially worry about my writing files being safe in my computer.
Q. Do you have anything specific that you want to say to your readers?
Thank you! For taking the time out of your lives to spend your time with me and my stories; I can’t wait to share the next two with you in November. Thanks for your beautiful notes, tweets, private messages, for recommending Real and opening your hearts to the story like I did. :-)
