Synopsis: Present day descendants of the ancient, psychically powerful Delphi bloodline face the threat of extinction when an evil tycoon hunts them for his own nefarious intent, a global spy network.

When artist Athena Butler, the modern-day descendant of a powerful, ancient bloodline of psychic women, realizes she’s the target of mysterious and dangerous kidnappers, she gets help from strange sources—the spirit of an ancient ancestor and a handsome man who claims to be one of her bloodline’s Guardians. Her mental powers and his brawny skills keep them one step ahead of the mastermind behind these kidnappers. Until the time when an FBI task force decides to use Athena as bait.

Review: Athena Butler and her mother are two of the United States' powerful psychics. They've had visions of danger, but nothing concrete until Athena's mother is kidnapped off the streets of Baltimore and Athena finds out that psychics across the country have been disappearing without a trace. Enter Kas Skoros, a former police officer turned Guardian of the Delphi Bloodline. A member of the secret male organization which watches over and protects the women of the Delphi bloodline. Athena's desperate to recover her mother, Annabella, and uncover the monster behind the kidnapping of the psychics.

The Delphi Bloodline is a good mystery/action/romance novel, with characters you connect with and a plotline which keeps you engaged. The bad guys were supremely evil, yet for a few there was the possibility of redemption. It was exciting to find out who was playing on which side (good vs. evil) and experiencing the heady power of Athena and Annabella. I wish the author had gone into more of the historical background on the Delphi bloodline itself. I think it would have added some additional perspective if it was written in a way which did not detract from the 'present day' story. Overall, The Delphi Bloodline is a pulse-pounding novel which takes you on a wild and mysterious ride!
