Synopsis: Written in verse, this is the previously untold story of the previously unknown 8th dwarf, named Creepy. He is banished to the basement for being different and, well, weird. Yet he plays a vital - and of course previously unknown - role in the popular tale of Snow White (whose title character is an intruder Creepy refers to as "the Maid").
Review: We all grew up with the 'Disneyfied' and sanitized versions of fairy tales, such as Cinderella and Snow White. In this tale Mr. Mullin has brought to light an 8th dwarf who was scrubbed out of the story of Snow White we know so well today. Written in verse, 8 is a fractured or twisted fairy tale and I loved it! I even read it aloud to someone else and they enjoyed it, too. For fans of fractured/twisted fairy tales, young and old, Mr. Mullin does not disappoint. I hope to see more works like this from Mr. Mullin in the future!
