Synopsis: During the rule of her murderous Dark Fae uncle, Thistle "Tricks" Periwinkle found sanctuary among the Wyr in New York. Her ethereal beauty and sparkling personality won the hearts of the public, but after her uncle's death, there are those who don't want to see her ascend the throne...

Able to wield thunder and lightning, Wyr sentinel Tiago Black Eagle has ruled the skies for centuries. His massive build and thunderous power make him one of the Wyr's best weapons. And he's the one sent to protect Tricks when she's almost assassinated in Chicago.

Soon, both Tiago and Tricks will fall prey to the stormy hunger that engulfs them- a passion that will shake the very foundation of all the worlds

Review: I find that I am really starting to get into this series, it has some of those twists and turns, connections and secrets that Kresley Cole's books have, and I enjoy that quality. I totally fell in love with Tiago (not fond of his name but...not my choice) he is an ultimate alpha male and I love how he totally just claims Tricks as his own.

I love how vulnerable yet still pretty kick ass Tricks is. She definitely keeps you on your toes, but I definitely think she was a little hard on his during "that" part of the book, it was a misunderstanding not a freaking world ending thing. Anyway, the plot is nice and strong, I adore all the characters. I totally fell in love with Carling too, she is awesome.

I liked this one better that the first, here is hoping they keep getting better and better!
