I love witch books and I try to read every single one I come across but could not finish this one nor could I get into it at all. That was the only problem. This one wasn't for me.
I love the idea of this series, to show young reader royals from all over the world. I love how Ms. Meyer tries to show everyone a likable and more vulnerable side to Marie Antoinette but I know to much about Marie from history to like her in this novel. It's not the authors fault at all but I just couldn't get into the story properly because of my own biases toward the character.
I have had a love/hate relationship with Amanda McIntyre's novels for ages now. I completely adore some of them and hate others...it's a coin toss really. I loved this one. I love the way Ms. McIntyre lays out the story. I love learning about 4 very different people all from various angles and I loved the sheer sensuality of the story. If you love erotica, you need to read this book.
