Coyote shifter Mercy Thompson knows that life with her mate, the Alpha werewolf Adam, will never be boring, but even their wedding doesn't go as planned. Nevertheless, a ten-day honeymoon camping on the banks of the Columbia River, alone, just the two of them, should make up for it. But the trip - and the pimped-out trailer they're using - is courtesy of the fae. And nothing from the fae comes without strings attached...

Being a different breed of shapeshifter - a walker - Mercy can see ghosts, but the spirit of her long-gone father has never visited her. Until now. An evil is stirring in the depths of the Columbia River - and innocent people are dying. As other walkers make their presence known to Mercy, she must reconnect with her heritage to exorcise the world of the legend known as the river devil...

Review: Mercy and Adam are on their honeymoon; however, it becomes anything but idyllic. There is an ancient evil lurking beneath the Columbia River and someone has awakened it from its deep slumber. Mercy and Adam must gain the trust of the locals to figure out how to stop the monster and set the world right again with their help.

Ms. Briggs has outdone herself once again! The latest installment of the Mercy Thompson series is wicked sweet! Mercy learns so much about herself and her relationship with Adam. She’s finally not alone in the world. River Marked is action-packed, intimate, revealing, and utterly unforgettable. Ms. Briggs’ books are worth the wait for such quality!!

  3. I can't wait to read this one!!!

Although I might have to go back and re-read the last one before I start this one. I read so many books that I forget what has been happening and need a refresher.
