But when an experimental spacecraft is mysteriously returned to the Kennedy Space Center, Kitty and the rest of her team are called in to investigate. Now the team must survive murderous attacks, remove a space entity from a group of astronauts, and avoid an unhinged woman with a serious crush on Kitty's high school boyfriend. And that's all before evil masterminds decide Kitty's extermination is vital.

Review
I have to start out with, I HEART KITTY. She is a kick-ass women and any of these alien hotties would be lucky to have her...it just so happens that Martini is that lucky. Not that he isn't cool as well but I have a thing for sulky Christopher. *sigh* I also have to say that this book didn't hold me in it's thrall like the first in this series, that is not to say that it is not a great story just that I wasn't glued to the pages of the book like I was the first one.

I love the fierceness that Kitty has in this book. She is way more in command (not that she wasn't in the last). I love how the action starts almost automatically and I love the fact that there are so STEAMY sensual scenes smattered through out the book. Can't go wrong with hot sex during a sci-fi book. I enjoy the wit that Ms. Koch instills in her work, it makes me laugh, it makes me think, and it makes me smile as I read. Those are all A+s for me.

There is one character we meet toward the end, that we have heard so much about but had yet to meet. I heart him and I am glad we got to meet him. That is all I have to say there. I enjoyed this book and look forward to many more wonderful stories from Ms. Koch.

  1. I totally heart Kitty, too! I love how she names everyone and has such big cajones.
