I am very pleased and honored to be hosting Shayla Black here for an interview in celebration of her newest anthology, along with Sharie Kohler and Jeaniene Frost, Haunted By Your Touch.
Ms Black has written a few of my favorite books to include:
Ms. Black is one of the steamiest authors out there and you won't want to miss any of her books if you are a romance or erotica fan!
Now for the interview:
(BBB) Tell everyone a bit about your story....
(SB) In the shadowy world of the Doomsday Brethren, magical warrior Raiden vows to protect Tabitha and their unborn youngling from evil—and deliver her safely to another man. But once he’s saved her, can he let her go?
(BBB) Do you or your family have any Halloween/Samhain traditions?
(SB) Mostly just hiding the candy so everyone in my house can’t devour it before the trick-or-treaters come to our door!
(BBB) Being a paranormal romance author do you find it more difficult to do an anthology or short story? Do you usually incorporate them into your already created worlds or do you like to make totally new ones?
(SB) Shorter works, like a novella, can be a challenge. Whether you’re introducing readers to a new world or revisiting an existing one, as I am in “Mated,” which is part of my Doomsday Brethren series, you must quickly orient the reader about the world, its rules and customs—and anything else the reader should know so they can enjoy the story—as you’re introducing them to the characters and letting the plot unfold. It can be a delicate balancing act, but one I truly enjoy.
*Make sure to look out for interviews throghout the week and a review of Haunted By Your Touch on Friday*
