Frannie Cavanaugh is a good Catholic girl with a bit off a wicked streak. She has spent years keeping everyone at a distance – even her closest friends – and it seems as if her senior year is going to be more of the same…until Luc Cain enrolls in her class. No one knows where he came from, but Frannie can’t seem to stay away from him.

What she doesn’t know is that Luc is on a mission. He’s been sent from Hell itself to claim Frannie’s soul. It should be easy – all he has to do is get her to sin, and Luc is as tempting as they come. Frannie doesn’t stand a chance. But he has to work fast, because if the infernals are after her, the celestials can’t be far behind. And sure enough, it’s not long before the angel Gabriel shows up, willing to do anything to keep Luc from getting what he came for. It isn’t long before they find themselves fighting for more than just Frannie’s soul.

But if Luc fails, there will be Hell to pay…for all of them.

Review: Frannie's just a seemingly ordinary high school girl, with only two close friends and a big Catholic family. But Frannie's got a horrible secret that she's never told anyone and she lives with it by keeping everyone at a distance. That all changes the minute she sees Lucifer (Luc) Cain. She's drawn to him like no one else she's ever met, until she meets Gabe. Now she has two guys vying for her attention as she comes to realize she has talents she didn't want to acknowledge before. If only she knew who and what Luc and Gabe really are, she might think twice before falling for either one of them. Frannie's now in the fight for her life...and might lose regardless of which side wins.

Ms. Desrochers has written a fast-paced, sucks-you-in, steamy story that you don't want to end. All the characters jump off the page and you feel as if you're right there long with Frannie, Luc, Gabe, and the rest. I think readers will really empathize with Frannie's situation and fall hard for Luc or Gabe (or both!). I can't wait to read more about this world where Heaven and Hell are just a step away...
