Haven Moore has always lived in the tiny town of Snopes City, Tennessee. But for as long as she can remember, haven has experienced visions of a past life as a girl named Constance, whose love for a boy called Ethan ended in a fiery tragedy.

One day, the sight of notorious playboy Iain Morrow on television brings Haven to her knees. Haven flees to New York City to find Iain and there, she is swept up in an epic love affair that feels both deeply fated and terribly dangerous. Is Iain her beloved Ethan? Or is he her murderer in a past life? Haven asks the members of the powerful and mysterious Ouroboros Society to help her unlock the mysteries of reincarnation and discover the secrets hidden in her past lives, and loves, before all is lost and the cycle begins again. But what is the Ouroboros Society? And how can Haven know who to trust?

Review: Haven knew from the time she was little that there was someone out there waiting for her. Her father wrote down all the things she said about Constance (herself) and the love of her life (Ethan). She even tried to run away to New York a few times, trying to find her Ethan. As Haven grew up, she forgot about Constance and Ethan...or did she? Haven has a fainting spell the first time she saw Iain Morrow on the TV. Her grandmother was in the room and decided she was under the spell of the devil. Snopes City is a small town with small town thinking, so anyone with any difference is immediately ostracized - like Haven, her best friend Beau (who is gay), and Leah Frizzell (who belongs to a church who handles snakes and drinks poison).

Haven runs away to New York and meets Iain who takes her on a whirlwind trip to Italy. But Haven's not totally distracted by the glitz, glamour, and ultimately, the lies. Haven takes it upon herself to figure out what is really going on, who Iain really is, the secrets of the Ouroboros Society, and who killed her in her past life.

Have you ever falling in love at first sight? Do you long to go somewhere you've never been? Perhaps you too remember snippets of a past life - but don't forget, not everyone was Cleopatra or Isaac Newton! I felt for Haven - who'd been lied to, persecuted, and told she's crazy for as long as she can remember. I know I've felt deja vu when visiting a place I'd never been before - have you? Follow Haven as she navigates through the ins and outs of learning the truth and the lies hiding behind the serpent's eyes.
