Book Review: Comfort Living by: Christine Eisner

Summary: With simple tools and do-able steps, Comfort Living will guide you in creating a home that transforms the way you experience each day. No big investment of time or money is required. Filled with exercises, ToolBoxes, photographs and planning pages, this book becomes a personalized experience for each reader, customized to individual needs and wants, much like a wedding planner or baby book. Just as comfort food does more than satisfy hunger, Comfort Living realigns your surroundings so that they support your priorities and feed your soul.

I just finished up my 8 week guide on how to make my home warmer and more me, or well us, but you all know how home decorating goes in the Husband's eyes. I actually expedited the process a bit, but the results are still beautiful, I can imagine how much more so they would be if I used the full 8 weeks. I adored this book, my Husband and I just bought out first home back in May, and while we have a few things, we lacked some of the stuff that makes a home homey. I used this book exactly as prescribed and my house looks and feels better for it. 'Comfort Living' is a super quick and easy read, great photography, and comes with a small journal to document the process and journey. If you feel your home is lacking the 'home' feel, try this book out for yourself, you won't regret it.

P.S. I am giving this book to my Mom for Christmas *shhh...don't tell*
