This is sequel to the first "Dark Ones" series, in this book Christian sets out to find his beloved. Instead he gets an overbearing and not in the least what he expected women, who doesn't want him. She is a ghost summoner and during her adventures in London she lands herself into a sticky situation, one in which her Dark One must help her out of.I didn't enjoy this book as much as I enjoyed the last one. It didn't have the same humor the other book contained. Her sarcastic characters stayed the same but there were no laugh out loud moments. Also the steamy scenes were really nothing more the warm water in my opinion. I just didn't feel what I wanted to feel between Christian and his beloved. Ill give the next one a try in hopes she can redeem herself.
